Our service labor with parts replacement is 1 year. Our parts warranty is 2 years on heating and cooling parts only (excluding compressor) (Other company warranties are only 30 days) . No warranty on burnt compressor terminals repairs or super boosts used to "jump start" failing compressors. Condensing unit, evaporator coil, or furnace replacement - 1 year labor warranty, parts per manufacturer warranty. Note: "in warranty" compressor replacements are warranted for the remainder of the original years and cover the part only. For possible warranty service on units installed or repaired by A-Plus where nothing is wrong, call will be applied in lieu of a check up where due, or billed as a service call. All warranty service calls will be limited to the normal business hours of 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m., Monday through Friday. All warranties are void if system is serviced by anyone other than A-Plus. We are not responsible for mold due to air conditioning water leaks or condensation problems. No drain leak warranty if drain is blown out only, 60 day warranty if coil is pulled and cleaned. Blow out is from cleanout to the outside only. Additional charges if coil needs opening to clean the pan. If drain ties into sink drain & A/C drain backs up after clearing, a Plumber is needed to clear the sink drain. Not covered by -Plus. In the case of refrigerant (freon) leak repairs, our parts and labor warranty is as stated above with the following clarifications:
1. You are strongly urged to let the technician show you the location of the leak prior to and after the repair. If this is not possible due to attic or other inconvenient location, be sure the technician accurately describes the leak location on his service ticket. Our warranty is for the specific leak repaired.
2. Unfortunately, many times there can be more than one refrigerant leak or repair in a system. We may only locate one and complete an effective repair only to be called out again later and find another one. Our warranty on the previous leak repair or other service repair would not cover the new one. However, if within 90 days of the first leak location or repair, we will provide a no charge diagnostic and/or leak search. You will then only pay for the new repair, just as you would have done if we had located it on the first trip. Owner shall look solely to the manufacturer's warranties, if any, with respect to any defect in parts or materials. A-Plus hereby assigns to Owner any rights or interest that it may have with respect to such manufacturer's warranty, if any. Disclosure of any manufacturer's warranty shall be provided to Owner free of charge upon request. There are no warranties, expressed or implied, except our limited warranty herein. This includes liability for incidental and consequential damages on the part of A-Plus due to normal repair of equipment. Financial liability will not extend to reimbursement for owner's time or any other non-related expenses not specifically defined herein. No other warranties shall be fact without representation of an A-Plus officer. In most cases, A-Plus is not responsible for water damage from drain leaks or water that spills while cleaning a drain pan or blowing out a drain line. A/C drain lines that empty into sink drains are not warranted if plumber is needed to unclog the sink drain when cleaned during a check up. Warranties are for work done or part replaced and do not cover new problems which may arise later. A-Plus will be given first opportunity to do any repairs. We do not, of course, guarantee parts other than those we supply and install; i.e. homeowner's thermostat, existing electrical, air flow or balancing through existing duct system, or existing drain lines. Sometimes further repairs are necessary and cannot be diagnosed until a first repair is done. Should this occur, you will be charged only one diagnosis charge. Further repairs treated as additional. There is no warranty on our diagnosis unless the repairs we recommend are done by us. Carbon Monoxide readings are valid at the time of reading only. Diagnostic or RTU charge is waived if customer invests in new equipment at time of service call or quote, the customer gets either the diagnostic, the RTU or MA equipment discount deducted from the price. A deposit will then be collected. NOTE: $100.00 cancellation fee of equipment towards freight if job is cancelled after the 3 day right of refusal.
NEW EQUIPMENT WARRANTY: A-Plus guarantees that condensate lines will be cleaned at coil or system installation. All maintenance of condensate lines will be the Customer's responsibility. A-Plus will not be responsible for damage caused by blockage of condensate lines occurring after the system has been installed. Water leaks from roof on system replacements where flue pipe was not replaced is only covered through the first rain and only if caused by A-Plus. The customer warrants that he/she has advised A-Plus of all latent defects that may affect work being done such as but not limited to electrical, water drainage, or air flow. Except as expressly written on the proposal, the pricing is conditioned upon the electrical service being to code and operating properly and there being no other latent defects or other situations or conditions on the premises adversely affecting the ability of A-Plus to perform the work. Breakers and copper is an additional charge if necessary. System Proposals include removing attic stairs or enlarging entrances if needed, but does not include reinstallation or trim and paint of the stairs. The customer is responsible for any additional costs incurred such as for upgrading to code or making any required repairs. A-Plus is not liable for any damages to, or caused by, down lights, electrical transformers or any heat generating devices in connection with the work performed unless each such item has been specifically identified prior to the installation. If copper lines are not replaced with a new system and, after an install freon leaks are discovered in the lineset, or in the slab, there will be a charge to replace the lineset since there is no way A-Plus could have created the problem or known in advance. Stress ceiling cracks or flaking due to natural walking on ceiling joists due to equipment weight are not the responsibility of A-Plus. Similarly, damage to walls or floors during normal installation are not the responsibility of A-Plus. Unless stated specifically to address airflow, airflow is not altered by system replacement except the mechanical differences from the new blower. Replacing equipment only or sealing ducts only without air balancing with dampers will not change airflow. Unless specified, duct inspection & repairs are not included.
PAYMENT TERMS: All payments are COD unless approved in advance by an office manager. Nonpayment of this invoice will result in a Finance Charge of 1 1/2% per month, APR of 18% which is allowed by law. Owner agrees to pay all costs and reasonable attorney's fees if this invoice is placed the hands of an attorney for collection. Returned check fee is $38.00. Nonpayment of this invoice voids all warranties.
